Inspiron Mini 9

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is a budget laptop, inside a Intel Atom Processor N270 1.6 GHz available in two colors: Obsidian Black or Alpine white.

It a very inexpensive laptop with it's small price $399 based on minimal inside components. It works on Windows XP Home Edition but I think it can run Windows Vista too. Memory is not enough: only 512 MB designed for limited applications, wait, the hard drive is very small - only 8GB like on a mobile phone.

A good accessory can be a portable optical DVD-RW drive for $85 that is not a part of the laptop. What's bad no WLAN an to add Bluetooth needs $20. No camera but again for some cash a Web camera with 1.3 MP can be added.

Inside components for minimal price:
Processor: Atom Processor N270 1.6 GHz
OS: Windows XP Home Edition
Memory: 512 MB, for more memory to 1Gb +$25
Hard Drive: 8GB, + $40 if you want a 16GB Solid Drive
No optical drive, + $85 for a portable one
No Bluetooth, + $20 for this feature
No webcam, + $25 for 1.3MB Webcam

The design is similar to other Dell Notebooks, it's amazing size and weight , glossy plastic is found on the top of the screen cover and price makes it the best inexpensive laptop ever.
